Control unit

EIS has developed the electrical control unit for a customer’s series of presses. The assignment is a Customized Solutions project in which EIS has total responsibility from a menu of required functions to series delivery of complete units. The result is a user-friendly and robust control system with guarantee and support for the customer’s assembly line.

Infotainment system

A team from EIS developed software for the infotainment system in a new sedan model in the premium segment. In particular, EIS was responsible for development of the all-new control unit in the rear seat module. EIS used development methods and tools to produce requirements, software and test regimes.

Setup box

In projects where products have to be tailored to suit individual customers’ requirements, it is necessary to have a well-integrated and iterative development process, often under severe time constraints. For a customer with products in the IP field, a team of EIS specialists worked with Scrum to implement final-customer customization of the company’s setup boxes. As a result of this process, it was possible to quickly make changes to the software – changes guaranteed to be fully compatible with the original platform.

Marine autopilot

On behalf of an Asian marine electronics manufacturer, EIS has developed software for a new generation of autopilot systems for recreational craft. There are many pitfalls in this type of software project and the demands are very tough indeed. EIS developed the new software, including algorithms for control loop, to meet these demands and ensured the same level of reliability as in previous-generation systems.

Measurement equipment

A team of EIS specialists participated in a measurement company’s development of equipment for capturing geo-data. There was very little development time. EIS provided specialist competence in software development, FPGA, Linux and digital and analog design. The result was equipment that was on the market after one year, with modular components that can be used in the company’s products.
